Cult Jewelry Label Alex & Chloe for Forever 21 Hits Stores in December

Following on the heels of fellow L.A. labels Rory Becca and Brian Lichtenberg, cult jewelry label Alex & Chloe is the latest local design house to collaborate with trendy mass market retailer Forever 21.
Hitting stores just in time for the holidays this December, the Alex & Chloe x Forever 21 collection encompasses a total of 13 pieces, from rings to pendants to cuffs and beyond, all in the brand's signature oxidized, slightly brooding minimalist aesthetic. The accessibly priced collection is sure to find a following in Alex & Chloe devotees, who have supported the line's dark renderings since the company launched in 2004, as well as will the retailer's younger, trend-driven fan base.


The pieces in the collection will retail from $4.80 to $29.80 and will be available in all of the major Forever 21 stores statewide and internationally, as well as online at Forever21.com.

The site Shoemint.com will go live in November. “I loved the idea of designing really cute shoes that are affordable and accessible,” Rachel told WWD. “The whole idea behind the BeachMint brand makes the online shopping experience so personal.”

Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's

 I could not believe my eyes when I saw this ad. Karl Lagerfeld is one of my fashion icon, he is the creative director for Chanel and Fendi, and he is so influential to so many people in the fashion industry.

The 45 piece collection is comprised of flirty dresses–some feminine and floral, others crisper and more severe–thick tweedy separates (shorts and vests) and faux leather jackets. The simpler black and white dresses with sharp white collars stood out (they seemed the most Chanel-like) 

“To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget,” Lagerfeld said in a release. The collection is priced between $50 to $170 and goes on sale at 235 Macy’s across the nation and on macys.com on August 31
